It's the beginning of the year and now we are getting to know one another. And as a means of doing it, we are designing our own personal COAT OF ARMS (thanks to my wonderful teacher from Lake School, Oxford, Jane Barden, for the idea)
Ok, first things first. What exactly is a coat of arms? A piece of clothing? A part of one's body? Both? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! In fact, it is...

Now, in class, I showed you the Coat of Arms of the beautiful city of Oxford. Here you have it:
The coat of arms of Oxford shows an OX FORDing the River Thames. The Latin motto "Fortis est Veritas" means "The truth is strong."

Hello, I am Elena, I´m in class 2ºE. I´m going to explain my coat of arms. The first draw is a town with a castle.This is my town Salobreña, It´s on the coast of Granada and It´s beautiful. Next picture are my cats, Rayo and Rayita, I like pets. There is a picture of a beach too, because I like going to the beach, I like the sea and the sun. The last picture that´s me in the kitchen because I like cooking.
My motto: Be happy and live in peace.

Thank you very much and good job!! Just a couple of things:
- Say "The first picture" or "The first drawing" instead of "the first draw".
- the "it" of "it's beautiful" doesn't need to take a capital letter.
- "The next picture", not "next picture"
- "Rayo & Rayita. I like pets" "...because I like going to the beach. I like the sea and the sun" (punctuation).
- "The last picture IS me" instead of "The last picture that's me"

Hi, I am Emi, I'm in class 2ºD.
My coats of arms is:
Avobe I drew fruit(apple, pear) because I like very much.
I drew a bird because I like the freedom.
Down below I drew moutain and trees because I like to walk in the country.
Also two hearts with two letters (B and C) for my two daughters.
I drew a personal computer because I'm teacher of computer science and I like to be connected by the friends and my family that they are far.
And my favorite phrase is "To look at the front". It isn't necessary to look so much up not down.

I am an architect, and I drew a coat or my job ?!?!?!. I drew a car bacause I love driving. Also, I drew the Asturian flag because my mother was born there and Asturias is the best ... in the world.
