All we are is dust in the wind...

Last Thursday, in our 1ºNB class, we listened to our "first" song. It had to be an easy but also a beautiful one, and I chose a classic, released in 1977: Dust in the Wind, by the American band Kansas, which is still active. Take some time and listen to the song and read the lyrics. And you can also take advantage of the opportunity to notice how fashion and hairstyles have changed over the years...
Please find the lyrics below:

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see.

Dust in the wind.
All we are is dust in the wind.

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy.

Dust in the wind.
All we are is dust in the wind.
Dust in the wind.
Everything is dust in the wind.

Dear Ana,
I'm glad you like music. Music is a great way to learn English. And yes, from time to time we'll listen to a song in class and read and translate its lyrics. Now and then.
Thanks for your suggestion.
